1. Follow the install procedure. Make sure you’ve followed every step described in the README file of the program. Most issues come from a skipped step during installation.
2. Check your dependencies. All required dependencies are listed in the README file. Make sure every single one is properly installed on your system.
3. Read the troubleshooting guide. The file TROUBLESHOOTING.md in the docs folder covers the most common issues and their solutions. There’s a good chance your problem is already answered there.
4. Run the built-in Troubleshoot tool. PeerBox has a diagnostic tool in its admin panel. Run it before posting, it will automatically detect most configuration problems.

If you’ve done all four and your issue persists, go ahead and open a topic! When you do, please include your distro name and version, and the output of the Troubleshoot tool. That way we can jump straight into helping you.
