Hey folks! Did you read my latest post about the possibility of creating an alternative search engine [link] ? Everything is crystal clear in my head! Really clear. We’re not going to sit around waiting for help that will never come. Devs are way too busy scrolling through stories or trying to get rich with AI rather than lending a hand to an open source project. So we’re going to do it ourselves! Because we can! I’ve already registered the domain name, and it’s a brilliant one 🙂 As for the rest, yes it’s going to cost us money server-wise. Once again we can’t count on anyone else, so we’re going to pool our resources to launch this project. The plan is simple… we start working locally, each of us on a separate part. Once it’s ready we put it online. We’ve already pulled off much harder things, we’ll make it happen.

Whoa! The bear has gone into his cave 🙂 Knowing him well I think that after 2 packs of cigarettes and a bottle of Bordeaux he’s going to come up with something incredible. It hasn’t even been a day, the domain name hasn’t even propagated yet and I can already see his bots running LOL let’s leave him alone, he looks well on his way. We’ll focus on the rest.

Ha Ha Ha! Very funny! Right! Everything is set up in Docker! Ready to be deployed on the server! But to save time, before going live I’m going to start indexing from my machine, it’ll be faster. Normally everything will be online by Friday. Without bragging, it’s a hell of a search engine.

Thank you for not confusing Psychopath with Asocial. Thank you 🙂 Besides I’m not done yet. The NovaFuture model is 100% complete. But according to our strategy, the model to publish on Codeberg still needs many more hours of work. The engine is good, the architecture is good, still some options to finish and all the security tests. I think I’ll take a short break. I need to clear my head. But most importantly I’d really like us to finally wrap up at least 1 major project. So I’m going to give you a hand with Peerbox. We’re way behind on it because we jumped into too many things at once. Our friends need Peerbox, I want it launched by next Tuesday. Let’s get together tonight to finish the last plugin and wrap up the tests this weekend. Publishing on Codeberg on Monday and promotion on our channels right after. I think we all agree on this plan. So less blabla and all hands on deck 🙂

Thank you, that’s really kind of you. We’ve had a lot of coding projects lately, but let’s just say it’s not our main focus. I’m really looking forward to finishing this one. The problem is, I’ve caught the flu. My head’s spinning, and I can’t code at all. But I’ll get better, and I hope to be able to release this project next week.
