A little story to wake up responsible adults

Today I want to tell you a little story… But before we dive in, take a few seconds to get comfortable…

Once upon a time, there was a story that wasn’t just about Americans. Because unfortunately, the same problem exists in Europe: the same old choice between the lesser of two evils! In reality, we’re not really voting for someone. We just end up picking the politician who looks the least harmful, with the “help” of mainstream media that pretend to lean left or openly lean right. And of course, those same media outlets are all under the obvious influence of billionaires.

And just like that, the loop is closed! There’s no real space left for progressive ideas—except as caricatures, easy to mock and dismiss. And to wrap up this little intro, let’s not forget: politicians are nothing but the puppets of oligarchs who make massive profits off the social destruction we all suffer from. We’re the ones feeding that infernal machine.

The myth of the “anti-system” billionaire

But enough talk… let’s get back to my little story. Once upon a time, there was an “anti-system” billionaire… Yeah, I know, it already sounds hilarious, but stay focused please. Otherwise we’ll never get to the end! So here we go: he became president by promising to take from the poor and give to the rich. And guess what—he kept his promise! All his billionaire buddies were rubbing their hands with joy.

This very strange guy, with his shady friends, wanted to “make his country great again.” But instead, he launched an economic war against all of his country’s supposed allies. The result? The USA has never looked so small, so isolated, so turned in on itself. And at the same time, he was selling MAGA hats and cheap gadgets made in China—while screaming that China was his country’s worst economic enemy. A truly bizarre character, like I said…

Reality goes beyond fiction

But let’s stop right there, because this story makes absolutely no sense! And what’s worse, reality goes way beyond fiction. The hard truth is that the American ship keeps sinking faster and faster, selling its soul to finance. And outside of this headlong rush, nothing really new—because the hull has been leaking for a very long time! So forget about dreaming: the “happy days” are far behind us, if they ever existed at all outside of a collective hallucination. There, I said it! Now take a deep breath. If you lean right, that’s your right! And I promise, I’m not here to lecture you. But if my little story rubbed you the wrong way, just remember this: with a so-called left-wing president in power, it was the exact same old tune, just with slightly better manners! The same tired story, playing on repeat for decades.
The story of 99 percent of the population getting fleeced by the elites. So yeah, cowboy, you can put your gun back in its holster! Truth is, we’re all stuck in the same boat—victims of the ultra-rich and the politicians who serve them.

Political illusions and the middle class

So the hardcore fanatics—on the right or on the left—who still believe politicians have superpowers, they’re not my target. Simply because I see them as fools. Me? I come from the lower middle class, and I’m proud of it! There’s no shame in that, because it’s people like us who keep the whole machine running. And yes, I know perfectly well the daily struggles—like the stress of running out of money before the end of the month. I genuinely feel compassion for you, because no matter what, you’re part of those eternal victims of the great political illusion. And yet, you just can’t help yourselves! As soon as a new miracle-seller shows up, promising to do better than the last one, you forget all your past disappointments… and you start hoping again, only to get conned even harder!

No superheroes in politics

Once again, it’s time to hit the stop button! There are no superheroes in politics! There never have been! All you’ll ever find are snake-oil salesmen with no real convictions—except, of course, the conviction to grab more power and more money. So here’s just one question: wouldn’t it be time to stop the childish games and actually make peace? Peace between neighbors, between family members, between friends, between coworkers? Instead of tearing each other apart over people and issues that honestly aren’t worth it? I’m asking this because in the end, there’s no shame in admitting you were wrong, no matter your age. In fact, that’s real strength, not weakness! Like Albert Einstein said: Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Cultural diversity, a real source of wealth

So instead of wasting your energy on everything that divides us, what if you used that same energy to open up to different points of view? I’m saying this because deep down, you probably wish everyone thought exactly like you. Right? But come on—you know that’s impossible. And thank goodness it’s impossible! Because whether you like it or not, cultural diversity is an incredible source of wealth, not some kind of monstrosity. And it’s precisely this richness, this diversity, that can help us build a future way better than the one politicians have been promising for decades. A future where everyone naturally finds their place. That’s the best alternative to the so-called “bright future” sold by the media and by Hollywood productions—that kind of fantasy world that will never, ever come true.

Together, we can change everything

So instead of sitting back while everything gets worse, or blowing up your anger at the ballot box or on social media, think about this for just two minutes: together, we can change everything! Let’s be clear though—I’m not saying all your problems will magically disappear, because life doesn’t work that way. But at the very least, it could mean no more anxiety about your healthcare bills, or your kids’ education, or losing your job, or drowning in debt… All of that is possible! And much faster than you might think. The only condition is that we decide it collectively, and wisely. And in the end, you’ll be the winner—because stress is a silent killer, and it kills for real! So if you care about your health, cutting the causes of stress is the smartest thing you can do.

The American Dream is dead

And to really hammer it home, let me be brutally honest with you: the America I dreamed of as a kid—it’s been gone for a long, long time. Seriously, aren’t you tired of all this violence? Of inequalities that keep getting worse? Of the instability that keeps exploding? Of the mediocrity that gets glorified every single day? Of that so-called American Dream that’s nothing more than a dream? Honestly, Americans, as a whole—can’t you do better than putting on this sad spectacle of decline? You’ve got everything you need to go in the right direction! And yet, little by little, you’re turning it all into nothingness. To the point where people all around the world are starting to realize that the so-called winners are actually becoming the biggest losers.

The great waste and elite manipulation

What a waste! You’ve been blinded by selfishness and locked inside your borders. And why? Because you were manipulated! Yes, you were told your whole life that you were the center of the world, when in reality you’re just a tiny cog in a system built only to keep enriching the ultra-rich. So open your eyes! It’s right there under your nose, every single day—on social media, on TV, and worst of all, on 24-hour news channels.

What if we really changed the rules?

Hard to swallow? Did your patriotism just take a hit? Don’t worry, it’ll recover. Just ask yourself for two minutes: would it really be that terrible if your health wasn’t treated like a commodity? If your kids could go to college without bankrupting you? If you didn’t have to fear losing your savings or your retirement in the giant casino of Wall Street? If everyone could live decently without depending on the so-called charity of the elites? If the rich actually paid taxes proportional to what they earn? And at the end of the day—would any of that stop you from doing business? The answer is a big, fat NO!

Toward a caring society

So here’s what would actually happen if your country shifted from institutionalized selfishness to a caring society: the whole world would say, “Wow! The United States has become a paradise, a real model for all of us.” And only then could we finally talk about true American greatness. And at that point, the economy would take off again on new foundations. And your stress level? It would finally start dropping, getting closer to some real inner peace. That’s the truth!

A first step toward a better future

But we’ve got to start somewhere. So here’s a first step toward a better future. Take a deep breath… there you go, perfect! This first step is simply realizing that there is light at the end of the tunnel. That we can make it—together! And that it’s possible, on one condition: moving forward without manipulative politicians, without political parties, and without financiers pulling the strings.

Share, discuss, create

The key to making it work? Share this article widely! Use it as a spark to start discussions, or as a base to create your own content. And above all, use it as a chance to talk with others respectfully, without rushing to judgment. The more of us believe reconciliation is possible, the more good things will happen. It really is that simple! And if it grows, one day people will say: It all started when ordinary folks decided they were done being manipulated by the elites.
