    Hello friends 🙂

There’s still a bit of work to do, but it’s progressing quickly. We should be able to start the testing phases within a week or less. The domain name is reserved, and I plan to open the dedicated forum very soon. We’re in the home stretch. Any points to discuss?

      Hey everyone,

So first off for me GitHub is a no-go. Windows and Android I’m not touching that garbage. For the core of the project we need to stay 100% focused on Linux. After that, if some devs want to venture into proprietary territory I’ve got nothing against it. But that’s not our problem.

Totally different subject, but we also have a score to settle with Reddit. Matt’s going to open a thread so we can discuss it. That little libertarian Nazi troll calling himself Spez is going to take a while to understand he didn’t mess with the right people! This is NovaFuture and nobody comes here to insult us for free! Social media is honestly just garbage in the hands of billionaires. People stuck on there are lost. Seriously, when you see open source people and actual progressives on these so-called social networks I don’t know whether to laugh or cry! There are even « anarchists » on Reddit lol Damn it people, buy yourselves some integrity! That stuff must be on sale somewhere.

Anyway, I’m going off on a tangent. Really happy PeerBox is moving forward though. By the way, what licensing model are we going with?

I code. I hunt bugs. I exterminate trolls. And I love novaFuture <3

Honestly, « GitHub »! Stop being so paranoid, LOL. Nobody here is going to publish anything on that thing. We’re going to use Codeberg, obviously. And for the license, I think we’ll go with AGPL-3.0. As for Reddit, I’m also waiting for Matt to start a thread to organize the response. But you’re right, they didn’t pick the right target for trolling. Regarding social media, I agree that most of it is a virtual garbage dump. But we decided from the start that we had to get out of the underground and make the alternatives known to as many people as possible. So that means stepping a little outside our comfort zone. And it’s not going to last 10 years either. The public is already starting to open its eyes and realize that independent networks are actually 10 times better. You’ll see 😉
