Hell yeah, let’s make 2026 count!

2025 was the warm-up. We built the ship, now we sail it. PeerBox launching in days – that’s the kind of decentralized badassery the world needs. Can’t wait to see people take back control instead of feeding the tech giants.

The off-grid space needs to happen. Theory is cheap, building something real is the revolution.

NovaFuture being open means WE shape what’s next. Got an idea or skill? Step up. This only works if we all contribute.
Here’s to autonomy, real action, and proving alternatives aren’t just possible – they’re necessary.

    Let’s go.

Fuck yes, I’m totally with you on this! Social media is like a sewer for human thought. With structured-data forums like this one, we used to make real friends. Sometimes we even managed to meet IRL. But now, everyone’s giving up! They say a forum is too hard to manage so better stick to Reddit spending your life shutting up to farm karma, or a Facebook group to go hunting for likes. People are fucking sheep! Specialized forums were what made the web rich and now there’s barely anything independent left. I’ve also stopped responding on social media. Don’t have the patience anymore and don’t want to waste my life on stuff with zero depth. We’re getting close to NF version 8. And I think before we launch it we need to have a serious discussion about the NF environment. This place is like Captain Harlock’s ship. We can’t keep getting pushed around, we need to come out of the shadows and show clearly that in these difficult times the underground is still here. Growth hacking is a strategy. We use it well. But I see it as a booster we need to detach from. It’s started, we need to go further. First off, I propose we communicate more on the forum rather than our private channels to show there’s life here. OK we’re not 10k strong but at least we’ve got quality exchanges. We still have things to prove. I know it sucks to have to prove the obvious. But we’re gonna do it. That’s our challenge. We’re working hard for that. And when it succeeds we’ll be able to say we didn’t work for nothing.

Yes! Love this logo. Can’t wait to see the other versions. Big work on PeerBox today! UX improvements over and over… stress tests revealed some well-hidden bugs, all fixed now. On my end, I tested on Debian 13.2… installed the distro as a tourist on an old laptop with the GUI… it’s really clean… the Debian team did a great job. Perfect for beginners. For my test machine I installed the XFCE version… yeah it’s really optimized. Pretty cool. Feels weird to see Debian for real outside of the console 🙂 but overall, it’s better than Mint’s XFCE version. Faster, more efficient. Old machines don’t lie. Either it’s fast or it’s not. This weekend I’m gonna try testing on Zorin. Welcome to Babylon! But hey, I’ll take one for the team. By the way… for the icon generation issue, I made a system from 0.2 to 0.8 based on machine power. Should fix the problem. Tell me how it works @Debugman on Ubuntu? And lay off your Arch for a bit 😀

On my end, all the bandit tests passed. There was just one small issue to fix. Done. Can’t wait to wrap this up and move on to the important stuff. After the holidays, I’m counting on you to clean out all those bots that think they’re so clever 😉

I just read the latest development status markdown. The progress is just mind blowing! This wasnt even on the roadmap. I cant believe it I tested everything, and it all works perfectly. The artist is working on the logo, and I cant wait to see the result. Just a suggestion though: this forum doesnt belong here! Peerbox is what matters! We need a dedicated forum category one for developers and one for technical support. Otherwise, its going to be total chaos! Get to work, @debugman!

Holy shit, it finally works! We’ve got ourselves a killer engine The code is rock solid no more bugs. Let’s stick with what’s working keep it simple, brutally efficient, and nail the UX. Tested on XFCE flawless but notifications are missing. No need to overcomplicate things we’ll just use notify send and call it a day. Still need to test on Fedora, though. We’ve talked about this before, but yeah, let’s push back the release. The heavy lifting is done, and with a little more time, we can drop a polished solution in a few days. So let’s grind hard now and throw a massive party after. Sound good, dudes?

Wow! What a huge day… On my end, I spent the whole day coding on the project… We made some serious progress with massive improvements that weren’t even planned. But it’s totally worth putting in the extra time. If we can keep up this pace for a few more days, we can release something truly amazing. Seriously!

I was skeptical at first… but now that I see the potential… I’m fully motivated. Emmanuel told me he knows an awesome graphic designer to create the logo… I haven’t heard back from him yet… but it’s clear we’ll all chip in to get a top-notch logo done by a pro. I agree with you —> everything needs to be 100% flawless for the launch.

We were planning to release an alpha just to showcase the concept… No way! We’re going straight to a functional beta. That’s the best way to get the world excited.

I voted! But I repeat, we also need to think about supporting projects outside the digital realm. There are also low-tech projects that need support.

    Hey everyone!

I see the job is done 🙂 But WTF! The site is a rocket now. I really like it. I love it <3 You did well to delete the old forum. This one is just perfect. Thanks for that, I know you spent some sleepless nights to make all this happen, but it was worth it. Really! It’s just incredible 🙂 I feel like we’re going to have some great discussions here 😉
