We’re moving fast and version 8.6 is already in place. Here’s what’s new.

Last night we rolled out a big upgrade to the blog publishing interface. This is going to seriously improve online visibility for blog authors and make their lives way easier on the SEO side. All the details are in this NovaFlow: [link]

We’ve also made major improvements to the NovaFeed, especially to increase author visibility and optimize how notifications are displayed.

But the big one is what you’ve all been waiting for: mentions are now live on NovaFlow! To mention someone just put an @ in front of their username. For example @Debugman This triggers a real-time notification in the NovaFeed.

I also did a bunch of other tweaks on the engine. What’s incredible is that this is the first time we’ve managed to finish projects ahead of schedule. And that’s no coincidence. It was really worth spending time building a new engine because we’re now saving a massive amount of development time. No more endless headaches.

So 8.7 is already on its way. We’re giving ourselves one to two weeks to wrap it up nice and clean.
