Hi everyone, I live in Florida here in the USA. I’m in the process of starting my blog and will have my first post online soon. I consider myself a talented writer and have written numerous stories and poems I would like to publish someday, including a horror novel. It still has no title but I have the basic plot in mind and would like to develop it into a thriller that keeps the pages turning. I’m hoping there is a community here of fellow authors eager to help those just starting out in getting their first book published.

Welcome aboard! I think I can speak for many of us here. We love reading and writing so you’re doubly welcome. As for getting a book published, I won’t lie, it’s getting harder and harder. But not impossible. For now the only advice I can share is that the best starting point is to get yourself known online by publishing. And above all, quality over quantity. I saw you published your first piece, that’s great. I coded a quick fix to fill in the gap where the featured image should be. It’s not urgent but if you want to attract more readers and if you want us to be able to showcase your writing you should try to add a featured image. Stay away from AI generated images, they put people off. The right format is 500 x 286 px. If you need help don’t hesitate to drop a message on NovaFlow.

Her name is Mandy. I adopted her when she was 9 months old and now she’s 7. She’s quite feisty but very loving.
